Summary: Good, but not that good
Comment: Maybe I've been spoilt, but this hair dryer doesn't really seem any better than my old one (also by Nicky Clarke). I bought it based on the great reviews I'd read and expected extraordinary results. Instead I got reasonable ones. It's longer than my old dryer so it made my arms ache a bit, and because the controls are on the left hand side, rather than the back, I found it really fiddly to use (being left handed certianly doesn't help). After using it just once, I've gone back to my old dryer.

Summary: Finally a product that lives up to its hype!
Comment: Like many others I was also sceptical about 'ionic' hairdryers but the reviews sounded promising and I put it on my wish list in time for Christmas. I've noticed immediate results and am really impressed. The air isn't as hot or as fast as my old hairdryer so I thought it might take longer in the mornings (when every minute counts!) but it doesn't. The brush really helps to smooth the hair and, whilst my hair wasn't terribly frizzy before, it is noticeably shinier and softer. I think the brush plays a significant part but the hairdryer does a great job too. Well worth the money.

Summary: Must try!!! Gives outstanding results!!
Comment: I have to say this hair-dryer has been a valuable tool in bringing life back into my dry, fine split-ended hair! Almost a year ago I highlighted my hair (peroxide blonde)and since going to Spain for 3 weeks in August my hair condition simply deterioated. I was constantly going to the hair-dressers (far more than usual) to have my split ends removed. I tried many of high street products but nothing would eliminate the dryness from my hair.
However since buying my Nicky Clarke NCD25 my hair condition has improved rapidly. I must also say that I've been using 'Treseme (colour) shampoo' followed by 'Dove Intense Care Deep Replinishing Hair Creme' which is left on my hair whilst hair drying with this hair dryer.
I would also like to mention to anyone who has fine hair which lacks volume. Despite this hair dryer saying it tames your hair making it finer (which is worrying to people like us!) you can actually STILL PUMP UP THE VOLUME of your hair using the brush and curlers provided with the hair dryer. The hair dryers results are pretty much as the standard hair dryers are except your hair becomes much more SOFTER, AND GIVES OFF A HEALTHY GLOW (reducing split ends)!
Hurray! This hair dryer has been a wonder cure for my dry hair!!!

Summary: surprisingly good
Comment: As soon as I had odered this haridryer I wondered if I had allowed myself to be a victim of marketing hype, and so when it finally arrived tried it with scepticism. I didn't have time to use it properly as per the instructions, with the hair sectioning and slow pulling of the brush with directional heat as recommended (who does with a toddler trying to 'help'?), and so I was thrilled and surprised when my previously scruffy thick wiry hair looked almost as sleek as it does when I've had time to use the ghd straighteners. It still looks good a day later and I am now looking forward to using it properly so I can see the real results.
